Rocks in Scotland

Scotland has many castles, fairy vollages, and more. Most of the castles were made of brick and stone. Some of the bricks even had the name of the castle stamped on them!
One of my favorite castles was Dean Castle; it had a secret chamber in the music room! Insite the chamber, there was a complete lego model of the castle!
Another castle I liked was Culzean Castle (pronounced Ka-leen). That castle had lego figures hidden in the rooms (except for the staircase), and we had to look for them as we went through. It was very fun!
Also, at Culzean Castle there was a trail to the beach. I found new samples of rocks there! These rocks were very smooth, had no points, and were lots of different colors. They looked like they had been in the world's biggest rock tumbler! Some of the samples were sedimentary, and some were metamorphic. I could identify the sedimentary rocks because they looked like layers.
Fun fact: Did you know that fossils are sedimentary! If they were igneous, they'd be burned to ashes!
